We’re a small team, which means every project gets real attention from people who genuinely care how it turns out, no handoffs, no disappearing after handover, and one person you can call who knows your project inside out.

We design and build commercial fitouts across Melbourne, from small teams doing their first fitout to larger companies relocating or refurbishing. Every brief is different, every space is different, every business is different. What doesn’t change is how we approach it, with the same care, the same transparency, and the same commitment to getting it right.

With over a decade experience in the office fitouts space in Melbourne, Andy has seen first hand how a well designed office environment can transform an organisation.  Andy began his career as a Project Manager delivering numerous projects across Australia, mastering the art of contractor and cost management, site coordination, and project delivery.

Andy’s knack for problem solving is second nature to him, and he approaches every task with a commitment to providing exceptional customer care. Notably, he believes that good design holds immense power and doesn’t necessarily need a hefty price tag.

Bertus Ras

Project Manager

Bertus spent the initial part of his career with a commercial property developer in South Africa, delivering 22,500m² of new offices and over 15,000m² of tenant fit-outs. Having recently emigrated to Melbourne, he now brings his technical expertise across the entire lifecycle of a commercial project, along with a comprehensive understanding of building services integration, to the Aquilla Interiors team.

A keen problem solver, Bertus strongly emphasizes services coordination during design. He provides practical solutions to complex design challenges and believes that every decision taken should ultimately benefit the project, maximizing value along the way.

He takes pride in his attention to detail and believes that sometimes, it’s the small things that make all the difference.
